Our seasoned professionals are focussed on project delivery. We represent only the owners’ interests in the project. Our advice is independent, and not based on best interest of designers, contractors or other parties. We are analytical thinkers, and proactive in our approach. We understand the interaction between the planning, technical, financial and legal aspects. One size does not fit all, we prepare realistic cost estimates and workable budgets based on scope of work. We develop project control systems tailored to each project designed, allowing early identification of budgets going off track.
Aspen CPM
Aspen CPM was formed in 2012, as a team of construction specialists, with diverse backgrounds in architecture, engineering, quantity surveying and project management, with a shared goal in working with our clients bringing vision to reality. We do not design, but we are designers. We have extensive experience in construction projects; we understand how projects are formed, how they evolve through design phases and how they are executed in the construction phases. We recognize that clients require the most out of their project within a set budget. We work with our clients from the earliest project stages to completion, and beyond.
Appointing an independent specialist project advisor early in the project makes sense. We provide feasibility studies, cost consulting, valuation of loss, loan monitoring services, dispute resolution and litigation support. We manage risk.
Our list of experience is diverse, and includes clients in oil & gas, industrial, commercial, school boards, courthouses, government services, residential for high net worth individuals, across Canada, USA, the Caribbean and further abroad.
We are accredited and proud to hold membership with CIQS (Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors), CACQS (Canadian Association of Consulting Quantity Surveyors), RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, ASAQS (Association of South African Quantity Surveyors), IFireE (Institute of Fire Engineers), ADRIC (Alternative Dispute Resolution institute of Canada), SCL (Society of Construction Law) and other relevant institutions.
Services
We tailor our services to meet the requirements of our clients. Our work can start at the earliest stages of the project, with feasibility studies, site selection, budgets for financing; or procurement stage where we assist with appointments of design and construction teams, development of contract documents; or at execution stage where we manage the on-site construction and project completion. We can also be brought in to provide peer review, adjudication or, our qualified arbitrators can be brought in to resolve a dispute.
